Angelina Jolie Is No Longer Pretending To Be A Good Mother After Brad Pitt Divorce
Angelina Jolie has stopped trying to be a great mother, because she believes that she simply is, no matter what critics like her soon-to-be ex-husband, Brad Pitt, say.
For the past few months, Angelina has been doing everything under the sun to keep Maddox, 17, Pax, 15, Zahara, 14, Shiloh, 12, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 10, happy.
She has been seen taking the clan on shopping sprees, having fun in an amusement park, and touring the Louvre Museum in Paris.
A source told Hollywood Life that Angelina has stopped focusing on people’s opinions and added: “She isn’t trying so hard to look like a good mom; she is a good mom. She loves her kids and has access to do things like premieres and take them to enjoyable and different things so why not enjoy the perks that her life presents her.”
The family friend went on to say: “She loves having a great time with her kids and being out, and she will continue to do it because it is only natural for her to do.”
Another insider claimed this is how Brad feels about the situation: “Brad wants his kids to be happy, so if they are going to a movie premiere and they want to go and are having fun, there is no reason he would be upset about that. It’s their well being he cares about, and if they are enjoying themselves going to these events, then there is no reason for him not to sign off on it.”
The pal added: “Brad had to work hard for everything through life and wishes Angie would help instill more down to earth values in the kids instead of making everything so easy. Brad fears that Angie feels guilty about the divorce and is over-compensating by taking the kids shopping every weekend. Brad had more control over the kids when he was still married to Angie, but now that they are apart, and she has been spoiling them, he has pleaded with her to slow down on all the spending. Brad is frustrated that Angie will not compromise and instead continues to get the kids whatever they want.”
